First of all, I want to say I'm sorry for not finishing Showdown September. I tried very hard to plan all of it ahead of time, but sometimes things just fall through, ya know? I thought I had it, but I guess I dropped the ball. I hope you all enjoyed the posts I did make, and I hope to make it up to you with a new theme month sometime soon.
Also, you may have noticed that the London and Disney diaries are still unfinished. For the London one, while I do have all the photos, I must pick which ones I want to really want to share with you all, as I can't upload all 600+ to the blog. I am waiting until I find the journal I kept while I was over there because I want to give you as much detail about the trip as I can, and I can't seem to find the old notebook. So I will keep looking. As for Disney, thankfully, I finally got my computer and camera to cooperate so I do have all the photos now. I just need to pick the best ones and try to break up each event by the days they happened (it's a bit jumbled into one folder now).
While my laptop was being cleaned and fixed up, my new friend at the shop, Jeff, also got my Xbox controller working! That means I can play some of the games I mentioned before and some new ones on my computer and hopefully get some new reviews in for you.
Now, on that note, I started something new that I hope becomes a regular thing. When I'm on Youtube, I spend about 90% of my time watching people like Markiplier and Pewdiepie, Cry, and Game Grumps, and I decided that even though I'll never be famous like that, recording the games I play and sharing them with everyone sounds like fun. So I have set up a second Youtube account and a related Facebook page, which you can see below.
OK, all of that being said, it will take me a bit of time to get any videos to you, and here's why: The reason I took my laptop in to Jeff to begin with is because I could not edit the video I intended to post with all this info in it. The only editing software I had was Windows Movie Maker and no matter what I did, I could not use it. It is now uninstalled and I will have to find new editing software before I can make any new videos. Besides that, to record my computer games I will need another type of software, and to record the console games (there are a few I REALLY want to do for you guys) I will have to save up some money and buy a capture device. Until then, if any of you have suggestions or information on some good software/hardware for this endeavor, I'd appreciate it - I'm new and a little inept after all.
One more thing before I finish up this post - all of you who read my blog and follow my Twitter and watch my videos, I want to send out a huge thank you. Just a couple of weeks ago, we had almost 200 people view my blog in a single day. So this is a special thank you to all 200-ish of you. As much as I love this blog and the things I do, I also love knowing there are people out there who enjoy reading/watching and sharing it. Thank you.
Alright, I think that pretty much sums up everything. I'm sorry again that it's been so long, and I'm sorry you'll have to wait a bit longer for my new projects to get started, but I appreciate you sticking with me so far, and I hope to see you all right here in the future too. Have a great weekend guys! Corgi, out!
