First, I didn't give you the answers to the Pokémon quiz. Since no one's taken it yet, we have no winners (I was gonna list the top three, so if you want in, go take the quiz before you read this post!) but I can still tell you the correct answers: Dunsparce is from gen 2, Cubchoo is from gen 5, Kabutops is from gen 1, Froakie is gen 6, Loudred is gen 3, and Snover is 4.
Second, yesterday, I posted a poem that I'm having published and that I read at Foster's last night. While at the reading I found out that April is also National Poetry Month! So you will probably see more poems from me later. Actually, you'll probably see poems and snippets from me all the time, regardless. This is where I keep my ramblings of a writer after all.
That's done. On to today's post! I was recently followed by Paul Steele, aka BaldHiker on Twitter. He's the most famous person to show an interest in me yet, and he does basically what I would love to do - travel the world and write about it! I live in the United States, and so far I've seen most of the Midwest and been on each coast briefly. The farthest I ever traveled was two years ago when I spent a week in London, England. I want to share a few photos I took while there.
Of course there were many iconic phone booths. This was in March, so the red is in great contrast with the wintery-looking landscape.
The beautiful London Bridge. Every time I watch Sherlock Holmes or Black Butler I like to point and say, "I was there!"
Unfortunately this is as close as we got to the clocktower. Did you know that it is not the clock that is named Big Ben but the bell inside?
This was the best part of the trip. I got to visit a Hindu temple and attend a prayer session! No cameras allowed inside though, so no pics.
I would love to go back to London someday. I want to see more of it. I want to see the whole world!
Have pics of a great trip you took somewhere far, far away? Leave them in a comment or email and I may feature them in a post!
That's all for today, folks! Hope you enjoyed my photos. Thanks for bearing with me through such a lengthy entry. See you all tomorrow!
