Anway, just as a head's up, since it is no longer April that means it is no longer Blog Every Day month. So if I miss a post or two, I won't feel as bad, and I may not post a reminder to Twitter and Facebook. Just check back - you never know what will show up!
So last night and today I had my buddy Dana over to hang out. Normally we sit on the couch and watch anime and talk about horror movies, but this time we played a lot of video games. Well, mostly Fable II. And she and I and some of our friends are big fans of YouTube gamers like PewDiePie, Cryaotic, Markiplier, etc. So today I must pose a question to you, readers.
If I made a video game walkthrough, filmed me playing a game, and uploaded it to YouTube, would you all like that?
See, my friends and I aren't necessarily really GOOD gamers, but we are certainly fun to watch. Between our screw-ups and our commentary, I promise you'll get a laugh.
So I was thinking of a couple of games that would work with this, and here's what I've narrowed it down to.
1. Fable II
2. Sly Cooper (maybe all 3)
3. CeCe and I co-op Portal 2
4. a series of vids where I and my friends play things like Left 4 Dead
Well, those are the ones I came up with. If you can think of any other good single-player or co-op games, let me know! I have a PC, Xbox 360, and a PS2, so don't go suggesting Wii games or anything.
One last thing, because if I do this, I want to do it right: does anyone out there in cyberspace know how to record what you are doing on a PC or an Xbox? Obviously, I can film myself via webcam on the computer. But how do I get a video of what's happening on the screen? I also know there is a way to record gameplay on a 360, but I do not know how, short of setting up my tripod and camera (which I may do at first, if nothing else). So if you have tips, tricks, instructions, or expertise in this area, send me an email or leave me a comment!
