As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting lately. Just had a lot going on around home and not much time, even with my two days off. They fit my blog schedule but I still have cleaning and such to get done so sometimes I don't post. Plus, Month of the Goat really kinda drained me.
Which brings me to my next problem. I haven't really been playing any new games or reading new books so I have very little to review for you guys. I suppose I could give you reviews of Pokemon Y and Fallout 3, those are what I'm currently playing, but given how long they've been out (especially Fallout) I imagine you all have probably played them yourselves. And I don't particularly want to restart either of them.
But I feel bad for not posting, so what I think I will do for the remainder of this month and into August is post a few quizzes here for you all to take. They'll just be short, mostly nerdy little tests. You can either post your answers via comments or just take it on your own time and then compare to the answers which I will give in the next post. Sound good?
Now, that will all lead up to September which I'm hoping to make another themed month (Showdown September) if I have enough material. September will also be pretty busy, at least at the start, because my mom is coming up to see me for a weekend, and after that my friend Kristen will be staying here for a week to check out the town and have some fun with me and my roommate. So we'll see how everything goes.
Anyway, now that's it's over, I can finally scream and run around the house because the World Cup is done and Germany won! I actually really like soccer. And as much as I love Messi, I had to root for Germany because after all this time, they finally made it back to the finals. AND faced Argentina again! They deserved this win. I'm super excited. How 'bout you guys? Did you watch the games? Who were you cheering for?
So Dana and I watched the final with our neighbor/my co-worker Andrew. And last night I made new friends because Andrew and I went to hang out with the couple that moved in upstairs. They're my age, and she works for the local news channel. And her other friends there work for the OTHER local channel/station. So we're all in the news biz! And Jacki and her boyfriend Max are huge nerds, like Dana and me, so now we can all get together and play video games and watch anime! It's nice to hang out with people sometimes, especially since now I miss D&D nights with Dana and the guys cuz my work schedule changed...
So yeah, it's been a pretty good weekend. Now all I gotta do is finish the laundry and figure out what to make for dinner while Dana's at work. On Wednesday I will have the first quiz for you guys, I promise, and I hope you enjoy it. If you have suggestions (for quizzes or reviews, or whatever) just contact me! I love feedback! And until then, I hope you all have a great day! Bye!
