When the boys cited Hosty v. Carter as a reason the (fake) university should be allowed to censor the (fake) university paper used in this (fake) hearing, my response was this:
...Hosty laws are only applicable in the states within the circuit that this trial was decided in. This imaginary school is in Missouri. Does Missouri follow Hosty laws?
In other news, today was the senior fair. I got my cap and gown, signed up for the senior walk later tonight (yay, free t-shirt!), took a survey for the alumni association, and met two very nice people who work in the marketing and PR industry right here in St. Joe. They were happy to see my interest, and decided to keep a copy of my resumé, and I let them know they could find me on Twitter, Facebook, and here, my somewhat personal/somewhat professional blog. They also urged me to post my resumé here where they and other potential employers can find it. So below is a link that will open the PDF version of my current resumé. I will also try to set up a new page for this info and my portfolio in the near future.
Resumé of Alyssa Rinehart
Why am I so eager to get my info out there? I have exactly one month until I graduate. Graduation is May 10, 2013. I am very excited, but also very worried. I know what I would like to do with my life, but not how to get there. But I know that making myself known, and making myself available, are a great start. If you're in the same boat, better get to networking. It's time to start our careers, and our lives!
Well, I still have more to do today, so I'm signing off for now. I swear I'm working on that video I promised, and there will be a shorter, less relevant one if the weather clears up. So stick around, and I'll get to it!
